Human Rights and Welfare International (HRWI), in collaboration with Team Asma Jahangir Sindh, successfully conducted a one-day legal training session titled “Forced Conversions in Sindh & What is the Legal Remedy?” on 13 December 2025 in Hyderabad.

The session brought together more than 30 young lawyers and law students, creating a platform to discuss one of the most sensitive human-rights issues in the region. The training focused on the legal framework, available remedies, and the role of legal professionals in addressing cases of forced conversions in Sindh.

Through interactive discussions and practical insights, participants explored how legal tools and rights-based approaches can help protect vulnerable communities and ensure justice. The session aimed to strengthen the capacity of emerging legal professionals to respond to these cases with knowledge, sensitivity, and responsibility.

Special thanks were extended to all the distinguished speakers, including Ms. Jayaa Jaggi, for sharing their expertise and valuable perspectives with the participants.

Human Rights and Welfare International also expresses its sincere appreciation to Team Asma Jahangir Sindh, the host institution, and all participants who contributed to the success of this important training session.

At the conclusion of the program, certificates were awarded to all attendees in recognition of their participation and commitment to strengthening legal awareness on human-rights issues.
